Welcome!  The construction of the Nye Family Home took place during the spring and summer of 1913 and was completed in anticipation of the impending birth of Miss Mollie Nye (click History for more information).  With the exception of the  basement, the house has been kept immaculately much the same today as it was in 1913.

This beautiful heritage house is owned by the District of North Vancouver and is operated by the Lynn Valley Seniors Association and the Lynn Valley Community Association. 

Following the tradition set by Miss Mollie Nye and her parents before her, the house is now a gathering place for the community, here in the heart of Lynn  Valley.  We offer a wide variety of programs for seniors as well as Ongoing Programs, Events and meetings of Local Groups.  The House and/or individual rooms in the House is/are also available for rent.  It is a popular venue for business meetings, club meetings, classes and social events which can be accommodated during daytime, evening or weekend (click Rentals for more information).
